Vanderhoef toying with running for Comptroller

They don't change their stripes, do they?

It also has me wondering if St. Lawrence and Vanderhoef are trying to shed themselves of their current jobs before some countywide controversy (the slaughterhouse, perhaps) comes to a head.

Rockland County Executive Scott Vanderhoef, who was just sworn in to a fifth term Tuesday, said he’s been approached by Republican leaders about running for statewide office again, particularly comptroller.

He said he’s “keeping those options open and looking at how this plays out.”

What evidence do you have that either St. Lawrence or Vanderhoef have committed some wrongdoing involving the slaughterhouse. Both have opposed the new facility. You implication is irresponsible without any proof.

I have not stated that either have committed any wrongdoing. In regards to being against the slaughterhouse, action speaks louder than words.
